Cultural Mobility Webinar: The International Circulation of Indigenous Creatives

As part of its pluriannual programme co-funded by the European Union, On the Move proposes Cultural Mobility Webinars to investigate collectively international artistic and cultural mobility. This Cultural Mobility Webinar will focus on the international circulation of Indigenous artists and the collective consideration of several key areas to provide a comprehensive understanding of the essential aspects of Indigenous arts professionals’ circumstances.

The webinar will focus on:

contemporary practices of Indigenous artists and routes and destinations of their international mobility
cultural exchanges and collaborations between Indigenous artists and their international counterparts
funding, grants, and market opportunities
how Indigenous artists maintain and express their cultural identity in international contexts
representation of Indigenous cultures in global art scenes
